West Indies v Zimbabwe - 1992 World Test Championship - 4th Round - West Indies 1st Innings

West Indies v Zimbabwe - 1992 World Test Championship - 4th Round - St Vincent

West Indies began their 1st innings badly, losing the struggling Simmons for a duck, and slipping to 92/5 after the run out of Lara for a subdued 40.
It was the second time this season Lara had been run out at the non strikers end, the two occasions on which he has fallen for under 50.
Jimmy Adams tried hard with 49, but West Indies never recovered, the Zimbabwean seamers having their best day of the season so far as the home team were dismissed for 195.
Burmester finished with 3-24, while Traicos was strangely ineffective on a pitch offering him some first day turn.
