West Indies second innings followed much the same pattern as the first, though this time Arthurton top scored with an excellent 116.
With Lara making 59, and Richardson 63 for the second time, the West Indies were again rarely under pressure.
With time ticking by late on Day 4, West Indies elected to bat on after Arthurton's century and forego a declaration, eventually being dismissed 372 runs ahead.
Kuiper's big hitting in the first innings had made them slightly cautious in their approach, and it waited to be seen whether batting on was the right decision.
Snell and Donald were again the pick of the South African bowlers, as they had been in the first match against Sri Lanka.
