1992 World Test Championship - Australia v India - 4th Match - Match Summary

Australia v India - 1992 World Test Championship - 4th Match - Adelaide

Australia and India played out a high scoring draw that was a disappointment to fans on a pitch which offered the bowlers nothing throughout.
Boon scored 175, and Man of the Match Allan Border an unbeaten hundred in both innings as the Australians piled on the runs against a listless Indian attack.
India struggled at first in their reply, but hundreds to Tendulkar and Prabhakar almost took them into the lead, and ultimately guaranteed them a draw.
Competition wicket leader Shane Warne struggled throughout, claiming match figures of 3-172 as the Indian batsmen became the first to tame him.
Australia gained the vital 4 first innings points to pull further ahead of India on the table.
