Australia v Zimbabwe - 1992 World Test Championship - 1st Round - Zimbabwe 2nd Innings

Australia v Zimbabwe - 1992 World Test Championship - 1st Round - Sydney Cricket Ground

Needing 386 to make Australia bat again, Zimbabwe got off to a better start to their 2nd innings, the openers this time putting on 58.
Things changed quickly as the spinners were introduced, with Shane Warne and Mark Waugh steadily working their way through the top order.
After Arnott was out for 41, only experienced batsman Andy Pycroft resisted, batting 3 hours for a painstaking half century.
The Zimbabweans were eventually all out for 214, failing to improve on their first innings.
Warne took 6-65 to finish with 11-142 on debut, and picked up Man of the Match award as Australia won by an innings and 172 runs.
Australia picked up 23 points for their victory, and Zimbabwe a solitary batting point.
