Australia v Pakistan - 1992 World Test Championship - 2nd Round - Australia 2nd Innings

Australia v Pakistan - 1992 World Test Championship - 2nd Round - Perth

Australia lost their openers cheaply in the 2nd innings, giving Pakistan hopes they could force their way into the match.
Boon and Mark Waugh changed things in a 3rd wicket partnership of 189 leaving Australia in a comfortable position at 198/3, an overall lead of 268.
Boon made 86, and Waugh went onto 127 to complete a fine match double.
Jones added another 86, with Border chipping in, and the tail hung around for a while, to see Australia post 392 all out in their 2nd innings.
Pakistan needed 463 to win, and having chased down 492 in the last game, found themselves in familiar territory following a first innings collapse.
Imran had been the best of the bowlers with 4-69, finding some belated form after a tough couple of games.
