West Indies v India - 1992 World Test Championship - 2nd Round - West Indies 2nd Innings

West Indies v India - 1992 World Test Championship - 2nd Round - Trinidad

West Indies began their 2nd innings 85 runs behind and lost Haynes first ball for a duck, a sensational start for India.
Though Lara batted well for 75, good bowling again from Kapil Dev and Srinath left the West Indies 191/7, a lead of only 106.
Adams again saved them, this time with Benjamin for company, the tailender contributing a vital 33, as the pair added a match turning 85 for the 8th wicket.
Adams was out for 75, with the West Indies eventually totalling 294, leaving India requiring 210 for victory.
Srinath and Kapil Dev had again impressed, claiming 4 wickets apiece, to end with 14 wickets for the match between them.
The pitch was now showing Uneven Bounce, the same conditions in which England were routed in the first round for 98, meaning the strong Indian batting lineup have a very difficult task ahead of them.
