Sri Lanka 'B' v Pakistan 'B' - 3rd Unofficial Test (4 days) - 1986/7 - Pakistan 'B' 1st Innings

Sri Lanka 'B' v Pakistan 'B'- 3rd Unofficial Test - Khetterama Stadium, Colombo - 1986/7

The Pakistan 'B' 1st innings followed the same pattern as the Sri Lanka 'B' 1st innings, with most batsmen making starts but no one reaching 50.
Qasim Omar and Ijaz Ahmed top scored with 49 each, Qasim Omar's innings a painstaking affair compiled off 140 balls.
Offspinner Warnaweera continued to bowl well, claiming 4-66, while the opening bowlers John and Ramanayake claimed 2 apiece.
An eventual total of 253 was a disappointment given batting conditions had eased to Normal, offering the bowlers no special encouragement, but it did keep the visitors in the game.
Sri Lanka 'B' now bat again with a lead of 8 and plenty of time left in the match for a result.
