With Mahanama out for 2 matches with injury, Dhammika Ranatunga was called up in the opening position.
With legspinning allrounder Asoka de Silva also missing this game with injury, Sri Lanka 'B' were forced to call up youth team allrounder Chandika Hathurasinghe to balance the XI.
Pakistan 'B' won the toss and again elected to bat first, despite being on a 3 match losing streak due to inability to set a competitive target.
The openers added a promising 43, but that was as good as it got, with the opening pair the only players in the lineup to reach 20.

The Sri Lanka 'B' side had few problems polishing off the runs, lead by a well paced 56 to D.Ranatunga.
Victory was achieved for the loss of 3 wickets with almost 14 overs to spare.
The Pakistan 'B' spinners caused a few problems but were never going to be able to defend such a low total on a perfectly reasonable pitch.
Man of the Match was offspinner Warnaweera, proving almost impossible to hit in taking 3-15 off his 10 overs.
Victory meant Sri Lanka 'B' take a 2-0 lead in the 5 match series, with Pakistan 'B' now having lost 4 50 over games on the trot.
