Toss: Sri Lanka 'B'

Sri Lanka 'B' won an important toss, with the pitch expected to deteriorate late in the match they elected to bat first.
They were given a good start by the fit again Kuruppu with 36 out of an opening stand of 71 with Mahanama.
Samarasekera joined Mahanam and added 76 for the 2nd wicket in quick time before departing for 32.
Madugalle then joined Mahanama in the key partnership of the innings.
Mahanama went onto a brilliant 145 off 195 balls with 16 fours and 4 sixes, scoring at abover 4 per over throughout his innings.
With Madugalle making a hundred of his own, and Tillakaratne and Ashley de Silva making 50's, the Sri Lanka 'B' captain was able to declare at 430/5 shortly after Lunch on Day 2.
The Pakistan 'B' bowling figures were miserable reading, with Mushtaq Ahmed out of form in claiming an expensive 2-141 off 32.3 overs.
