Pakistan 'B' v Australia 'B' - 1st Unofficial Test (4 Days) - 1986/7 - Pakistan 'B' 2nd Innings

Pakistan 'B' v Australia 'B' - 1st Unofficial Test (4 Days) - Peshawar - 1986/7

Pakistan 'B' needed 300 to win when they began their chase and lost wickets regularly throughout their innings.
Captain Mansoor Akhtar retired hurt after being struck by Whitney, which seemed to take the fight out of the rest of the lineup.
Ijaz Ahmed kept going for an entertaining hundred, with 5 sixes, but he had little support at the other end.
The tail hung around for a while with Mohsin Kamal making 37 to cut the margin slightly, but in truth Australia 'B' always seemed to have the game in hand.
Mike Whitney claimed 3-45 to finish with 7 wickets for the match, while the other bowlers chipped in in a good team effort.
Australia won the match by 44 runs, with Man of the Match going to Dirk Wellham for his first innings hundred.

Australia won by 44 runs.
